Beargrass Afterschool Program

At CHMS we offer quality after-school care to anyone enrolled in our facility. This program runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday until 5:30 PM. The Beargrass program keeps a low child-to-adult ratio. This small grouping allows our staff to create fun and engaging afterschool activities designed to entertain a mixed age group. After school care is a great opportunity for children to socialize with friends, and play outdoors in open-ended experiential ways. The Beargrass program is similar in design and structure to the philosophy used in the classrooms during the school day, and is designed to complement and expand upon our Montessori educational approach. These supplementary activities offer your child a chance to relax, try new things, develop new skills, and most importantly, end the day having fun!
