Amanda Fleming is the Directress in the Aspen House, one of our two primary classrooms on campus. She is certified in Early Childhood Education through Flathead Valley Community College as well as Montessori certified through the American Montessori Society. In addition to teaching at CHMS, Amanda also teaches Early Childhood classes at Flathead Valley Community College. Amanda loves to incorporate music, art, and science into her curriculum encouraging creativity and free expression through interactive activities. Amanda has worked at CHMS since 2007.
Sarah Campbell is the Directress in the Birch Classroom, one of our two primary classrooms on campus. Sarah has a BA in Education and Philosophy and is Montessori certified through the North American Montessori Center. Sarah has worked with children for many years including leading wilderness awareness and canoe camps, to teaching as an assistant for a Montessori school in Michigan, as well as working at an orphanage in Nepal. Sarah has traveled extensively and loves to incorporate cultural studies and geography into her curriculum. Sarah loves singing, playing guitar and ukulele, music plays a big part in her class as well. Sarah has taught at CHMS since 2010.
Becky Robertson is the Directress in the Saplings Early Learner program. Becky is a British qualified primary school teacher and holds a BS in Biology and a Post-graduate Certificate of Education. Becky worked in England as a teaching assistant and as a teacher for 5 years before moving to Montana and starting at CHMS in December 2010. Becky brings a wealth of cultural diversity to the classroom incorporating basic language lessons in French and German and introducing students to the wider world.
Jennifer Bush has been the lead administrator at Children’s House Montessori School since 2007. Prior to coming to CHMS, Jennifer taught as a Montessori teacher at Woodland Montessori in Kalispell for 10 years. She has a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Montessori and holds a Montessori teaching certificate from the American Montessori Society. Jennifer’s extensive teaching experience allows her to work closely with the lead teachers as both trainer and mentor.
