Amanda Fleming is the Directress in the Aspen House, one of our two primary classrooms on campus. She is certified in Early Childhood Education through Flathead Valley Community College as well as Montessori certified through the American Montessori Society. In addition to teaching at CHMS, Amanda also teaches Early Childhood classes at Flathead Valley Community College. Amanda loves to incorporate music, art, and science into her curriculum encouraging creativity and free expression through interactive activities. Amanda has worked at CHMS since 2007.
Sue Hays is the Directress in the Birch House, one of our two primary classrooms on campus. She has a B.A. in education K-8, with a reading endorsement for K-12. She has also been trained in Reading Recovery and Early Steps for early reading intervention. In addition, she is a certified Montessori teacher. She has taught for several years in public and private school systems. Sue is passionate about the Montessori curriculum and enjoys integrating language arts, music, math and art into all areas of her classroom. This is her first full year as a lead teacher at CHMS.
Eve Hunter is the Directress in the Saplings Early Learner program. She is a Montessori certified teacher through Association Montessori International (AMI) and also holds a Master’s of Education in Montessori from Loyola University in Maryland. She has a BA in Art and enjoys incorporating art as well as gardening and music into her curriculum. Eve began working at CHMS in 2009, took two years off after the birth of her daughter, and returned in 2014.
Jennifer Bush has been the lead administrator at Children’s House Montessori School since 2007. Prior to coming to CHMS, Jennifer taught as a Montessori teacher at Woodland Montessori in Kalispell for 10 years. She has a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Montessori and holds a Montessori teaching certificate from the American Montessori Society. Jennifer’s extensive teaching experience allows her to work closely with the lead teachers as both trainer and mentor.
