Our school is excited to announce that due to some shuffles and schedule changes, we have available openings at CHMS. Please contact us to get your paperwork started, take a tour of our wonderful facility, or ask any questions you may have. The spots will go fast so don’t delay, come on by and secure your spot today!
CHMS has a $1 for $1 matching fundraising offer currently available to us. We need to raise $40,000 in order to obtain a match of $40,000. There are two conditions… the funds must all be used to pay down our mortgage on the CHMS school buildings and we HAVE to raise $40,000 before we receive $40,000. You can support our cause by purchasing raffle tickets, attending our Spring Auction & 80’s Dance Party, or donating directly to CHMS. We are a 501(c)3 organization and any donation will receive the associated tax benefits. Please contact Jennifer Bush at 406-863-4685 if you are interested in being a part of this fundraising effort.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
First of all I would like to thank the Whitefish Community for coming out and participating in our Pumpkin Patch Kids Carnival.
Thanks also goes out to all the parents and staff that helped on Saturday, without you we could not have pulled it off!!! Thank you to Summit Prep & Sinopah House for sending youth volunteers to work the games. Thank you to Whitefish Lake Golf Club Restaurant, Piggyback BBQ , Giving Foods Market & Bakery, and Central Avenue Bakery for the donation of so many yummy flavors of soup. And thank you to Izaak Walton Inn for once again providing an OUTSTANDING pot of chili for our soup tent. Their chili was amazing all by itself and it also went well on a hot dog!
Thank you to Cloud 9 Furniture Consign and Design , The Chic Boutique, Green Peak Promotions, The Montana Center for Laser Dentistry, and Kalispell Montessori for sponsoring booths at the event.
Our raffle basket items were donated by Whitefish Mountain Resort, The Stumptown Ice Den, and the Lacey Family.
Thanks to the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce for sharing the park with us during Oktober Fest.
And thanks again to all the people who helped make Children’s House Montessori School’s annual Pumpkin Patch Kids Carnival a smashing success!!
The families, staff and Board of Directors at Children’s House Montessori School would like to thank the community of Whitefish for supporting the International Wildlife Film Festival Tour. Many families enjoyed this annual event that included educational films about wildlife from across the planet, interactive wildlife displays, and of course, a wild animal parade at intermission.
We are very grateful to Lynn Vaught and Kari Gabriel of Wildlife Return who brought live raptors for the children to experience, including a great grey owl, peregrine falcon and a tiny saw-whet owl. Wildlife Return is a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center located in Whitefish that provides rehabilitation and release services for orphaned and injured wild animals from all over Northwest Montana.
We would also like to acknowledge Kim Corette from Lone Pine State Park who brought pelts, tracks, and skulls from animals of Montana. Thanks also to Wes Hayes of Ravenwood Outdoor Learning Center for bringing in interactive demonstrations. Finally we would like to recognize Ashley Mason from Flathead Audubon for bringing a display on birds of Montana.
We are grateful for the many volunteers who came out to help at the event. We would especially like to thank Rob Dewbre from Bee Broadcasting who emceed the festival.
Finally, we really appreciate our financial sponsors including Whitefish Credit Union and Edward Jones. Thanks to these financial contributions, we are able to keep ticket costs low which allowed many children to enjoy this anticipated event. We would also like to recognize the businesses for their contributions of goods and services that made this event a success including Cowgirl Coffee and MacKenzie River Pizza. And finally, thank you to Imagination Station for selling tickets prior to the festival.
All proceeds from this event support Children’s House Montessori School, a non-profit school devoted to the educational, social, emotional and physical well-being of children. Our mission is to encourage lifelong learning in a nurturing, child-centered environment. CHMS has been serving the community of Whitefish since 1983.
Thank you so much for your support!
